G’day everyone, thanks for being here.
You might have been following the email series where I’ve been covering how absolutely essential it is, for you to put in place, a solid, strong platform for any success you want. This is so important particularly when you’re stretching yourself a bit, wanting to achieve something really challenging.
Putting this platform in place applies whether we want more money, a promotion, a new business, a new relationship, better relationships, lose weight, more fitness, or just getting more fun into your life.
If you haven’t been succeeding at something, maybe not having this solid platform is the reason why you are having such a struggle. And I know that feeling!
In this video, I am going to show you, why this Platform for Success is so important.
For whatever you do in life, you need to have this solid base. Or, in my words as a builder – put down your foundations. This is the hardest and most challenging part in construction, it’s often work done underground, but once it is done – the rest is easy. It’s called in building coming out of the ground, something that is a big milestone in construction. With solid foundations in place, we fly with the rest of construction
In this different area, building success, after you put your platform in place, it becomes your launch pad where this triggers the firing of your powerful success booster rockets (which I shall describe in the next video) and we are on the way to the stars. Sound good? It makes achievement so much easier and faster.
Let’s give an example around money.
Let’s say you want to make $10,000 in the next month. So what you normally do – you will have a plan for how you will do this. It will be a practical plan; hopefully it will cover things like timing. You’ll also have a way to map your progress. Your plan would cover things like precisely what you need to do to make this $10,000 and how you are going about it on a daily basis. All good practical stuff, all necessary but all in the future, we have no base yet.
Then you set out on your $10,000 income goal. Inevitably, things happen, probably in the first week. There are interruptions – like what happened to me recently – if you are using computer software in the process, it can fail with no notice! Murphy’s Law always steps in, if it is going to go wrong it will, and at the worst time. But was I fussed, no, I had my platform in place.
But if you don’t have this Platform for Success, soon you see your success on this project going out the window.
Frustration sets in; the fear that you will fail to achieve your goal; disappointment and even maybe anger at the obstacles that seem to have unfairly gotten in the way of the successful achievement of your plans.
Even when it starts to look impossible, when you start to feel – no way am I going to achieve income of $10,000 this month! Or worse still, you give up altogether.
What you need, working for you quietly in the background, is the Platform for Success. When this is working for you, no obstacle will matter. You will feel peace and enjoyment working on your success goal. And you will keep at it.
With the Platform for Success already in place, none of these emotions will even arise and you will so easily and happily find a way around any challenge; because you have that solid base which is strong enough to give you lift off with the forceful power of your Success Booster Rockets; nothing will hold you back from achieving your Success.
This is what makes the difference between those who succeed easily and those who struggle.
